Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Assess, record and report on learners’ progress and development
- Create a safe, positive and well-managed classroom
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of learners of different abilities
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians
- Take part in staff meetings, school events and extracurricular activities
- Keep accurate records of attendance, marks and lesson plans
Requirements
- Diploma in Education (Primary) or higher
- At least 2 years’ teaching experience at primary level
- Sound knowledge of the primary school curriculum
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
