Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining and monitoring the maintenance of Hatchery equipment and machinery as per SOP’S and Bio security standards.
- Plans and implements the maintenance schedule proactively.
- Repairs to all equipment and machinery.
- Ensures that all department machinery and equipment is monitored and maintained as per manufactures specifications for optimal performance by ensuring maintenance schedule adherence.
- Ensures that all the Hatchery’s infrastructures and buildings are secured, maintained and in good condition as per SOP’S.
- Identifies and prioritizes repairs to maintain smooth running of operations.
- Responsible for spare parts and equipment stock levels and raises internal requisitions to order spares needed.
- Installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- May be required to perform standby duties.
- May be required to week on Public holidays and weekends.
Requirements
- BGCSE, Artisan Class 1 or equivalent.
- Qualified Millwright with a wireman license.
- Qualified Electrician with wireman’s license and the ability to do mechanical work will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar environment.
- Computer literate.
- Valid driver’s licence.
