Sprint Couriers invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced and results-driven professionals for the position of IT Manager. The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership of the company’s IT environment, overseeing infrastructure, business applications, network connectivity, cybersecurity and technical support across approximately 55 branches. The role will ensure reliable, secure and efficient technology operations while driving innovation and business performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, workstations and technology assets across all branches.
- Ensure reliable network connectivity and oversee infrastructure installations, upgrades and maintenance across all locations.
- Manage courier and logistics systems, business applications, databases, email and cloud platforms, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
- Coordinate system upgrades, troubleshooting and technical enhancements to support business requirements and minimize downtime.
- Develop and enforce IT security policies, access controls and cybersecurity measures to safeguard company systems and data.
- Lead the IT team, oversee daily operations and ensure timely resolution of technical issues and effective user support.
- Manage IT service providers and technology vendors, ensuring service quality, contractual compliance and adherence to SLAs.
- Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans, including data backups, recovery procedures and regular testing.
- Identify and implement technology solutions, automation and system improvements to enhance operational efficiency and support business growth.
- Manage IT budgets, resource utilisation, operational reporting and technology development plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Engineering or a related field.
- Professional certifications in Microsoft technologies, Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Security+, ITIL, cybersecurity or cloud technologies will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience in IT infrastructure and systems management, preferably in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Strong practical experience in managing enterprise networks, servers, business applications, Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, cloud services, cybersecurity, data backup and disaster recovery.
- Proven experience in IT service management, vendor and SLA management.
- Experience in the courier, logistics, transportation or distribution industry will be an added advantage.
