Key Responsibilities

• Operate Bulk Fuel Tankers in Botswana road traffic laws and company procedures
• Load, transport and offload petroleum products safely and accurately
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post trip inspections, reporting any faults immediately
• Complete delivery documentation accurately and on-line
• Maintain Product integrity-ensuring no loss or contamination
• Follow HSSEQ and safe driving procedures at all time
• Safeguard fuel, vehicles and company property
• Communicate effectively with Dispatch and Receiving sites
• Respond appropriately to emergencies, including spill containment and restoring
• Keep truck Clean and Presentable at all times
• Report all Incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions promptly
• Maintain strict confidentiality of routes product details and client information
• Participate in refresher training, safety meetings and driver assessments
• Cooperate with law enforcement, border and security officials when required

Requirements

• BGCSE or Higher Qualification
• Valid Class EC(Heavy-Duty) drivers licence with valid PRDP
• Valid Dangerous Goods(Hazchem) permit
• Minimum 5years’ experience operating fuel tankers
• Strong understanding of HSSEQ standards and road safety procedure
• Ability to read, write and complete delivery documentation
• Professional conduct and customer service orientation
• Excellent attention to details
• High Level of confidentiality and responsibility
