IP NETWORK ENGINEER
Brief Description of the duty
We are looking for a Network Engineer to design, implement and maintain our organisation’s IP Ethernet network. It is his or her responsibility to develop tools to manage the network. They provide all necessary technical assistance to operation team around the clock as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
? Proven hand-on network engineering experience
? Deep understanding of networking protocols
? Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
? Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
? University degree in Computer Science or a related subject
EXPERIENCE
? Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science,
? IP engineer, or similar
? Previous ISP experience (2 years or more)
? Previous IP Metro Ethernet experience
? Experience in Cisco, mikrotik and Ubiquiti products
Driving License is an added advantage
